Established as a private limited company in 1979, owned and managed by the two main directors, David Black and Lawrence young.

In 2017 Young Black became a part of the Indutrade family of companies.  Indutrade are a decentralised Swedish PLC, who own more than 250 companies across Europe.

The philosophy of decentralisation allows each company to plan and execute its own growth.  Young Black was always a strong company, but now has the additional strength of a large PLC.
